Blood Sandalwood is largely the cheapest
of all Padauks, and very underated. The tonal quality,
however, tends to be expressive, and the workmanship
of this erhu is excellent. In many areas, Blood Sandalwood
is mixed up with other Sandalwoods, but we choose to
differentiate it here. It is still a worthy buy due
to its high potential.
Its tone is deep and expressive and is a really wonderful
instrument for soloist who demand most on the lower
registers.
