Wan Qi Xing effectively applies the art of making Erhus
and makes Erhu of tonal quality which is both sweet
and magnetic. He uses high quality Indian Padauk for
this grade of Erhu, and workmanship for the Erhu is
of cost, at its finest. Nevertheless, he commands a
lower premium than his teacher. The lowered price more
than makes up for his lack of prestige, but the sound
quality should not be compromised. It highest sensitivity
due to High Grade of Indian Padauk is also a major plus
in this buy, and of course, the resonance of Padauk
results in better dynamics than most other materials.
